Dr Justin Teng
Imaging and General Cardiologist
Dr Justin is a highly experienced and dedicated Imaging Cardiologist specialising in echocardiography and cardiac CT.
He completed his general cardiology training across the three major tertiary hospitals in Perth where he developed his passion for non-invasive cardiac imaging.
He furthered his training with a fellowship in non-invasive cardiac imaging at MonashHEART in Melbourne, one of the largest cardiac imaging centres in Australia. This endeavour further enhanced his expertise in advanced echocardiography techniques such as stress echocardiography, strain imaging, complex structural cardiac diseases, 3D echo analysis, intra-procedural transesophageal echocardiography (ASD/PFO closure, LAA occlusion devices, TAVI and MitraClip) as well as functional and structural cardiac CT.
He is highly qualified in cardiac CT as one of the few cardiologists achieving the top level of accreditation by the Australian Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in CT Coronary Angiography.
Dr Anand Venkataraman
Imaging and General Cardiologist
Dr Anand is experienced in all aspects of general cardiology, including cardiac risk/chest pain assessment and heart failure.
His subspecialty interests include the assessment and management of valvular and structural diseases of the heart, as well as advanced cardiac imaging including stress, transoesophageal and intraprocedural echocardiography. He is also actively involved in assessment and procedural imaging support for various structural, current and emerging trans-catheter valvular interventions.
After graduating from medical school at the University of Western Australia, he completed cardiology training in Perth and further fellowship training in echocardiography at Fiona Stanley Hospital, as well as advanced fellowship training in Vancouver, Canada, through the University of British Columbia. Additionally, he also has American Board qualification in echocardiography and Cardiac CT.
Dr Primero Ng
Interventional Cardiologist
Dr Primero is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist in Perth with advanced expertise in complex coronary artery disease, including chronic total occlusions, high-risk PCI, and patients declined for bypass surgery. He is dual trained in Cardiac CT, allowing a comprehensive, imaging-led approach from diagnosis through to procedural planning and follow-up.
His practice focuses on CTO PCI, multivessel and left main disease, and revascularisation strategies for patients with limited options, integrating IVUS, OCT, and physiology-guided decision-making to deliver precise, evidence-based care across Western Australia.
He graduated with honours from the University of Western Australia and completed specialist cardiology training across major tertiary centres in Perth, followed by advanced coronary training at Royal Perth Hospital with a focus on intravascular imaging and coronary physiology.
Additionally, he completed a formal Complex and High-Risk PCI fellowship at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, one of the world’s leading centres for complex and CTO PCI, under the mentorship of Dr Bill Lombardi, Dr Kate Kearney, and Dr Lorenzo Azzalini.
Dr Kim Kuy Be
Imaging and General Cardiologist

A compassionate cardiologist who takes pride in working with his patients to provide comprehensive care, Dr Kim is experienced in general cardiology and has a subspeciality interest in non-invasive cardiac imaging.
​
He graduated from medical school at the University of Tasmania with clinical honours and furthered his cardiologist training at Western Health, Bendigo Health and Monash Health.
​
In 2022, he completed a non-invasive fellowship at Monash Health, which involved transthoracic echocardiography, stress echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography and cardiac CT. The following year, he deepened his expertise by completing a Cardiac MRI fellowship at the Victorian Heart Hospital.
Dr Ahmed Al-Kaisey
Electrophysiology Cardiologist
Dr Ahmed is a Specialist Cardiologist with a particular interest in the management of heart rhythm disorders including atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, and cardiac devices management. His work has been presented at an international level.

He undertook his clinical training in Melbourne at Austin Health, Barwon Health, and Bendigo Health. Currently, he is undertaking a PhD degree at the University of Melbourne and The Royal Melbourne Hospital, with the prestigious National Heart Foundation postgraduate scholarship supporting his research into improving our understanding of the complex mechanisms that drive atrial fibrillation.

In addition to his career in research, he also works as a Consultant Physician in the Acute Medical and General Medicine Unit at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
